Job Duties
Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed, communicate with students regularly, mark assignments, monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, manage and review exam submissions as required, finalize official grades.

Create an outline for the lab day(s), prepare the room and supplies prior to the start time and cleanup afterwards, teach and demonstrate skills, provide scenarios and answer student’s questions, complete performance skill testing as required, submit any required paperwork to Continuing Education.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications
  1. Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with degree in Nursing, Education or related subject area or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  2. Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses’ Association or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan.
  3. Two years recent/relevant work experience.
  4. Computer competency, including use of Microsoft programs and the Internet.
  5. Knowledge of the Continuing Care Assistant Program.
  6. The instructor must reside in Saskatchewan for the full duration of the contract.
  7. Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
  8. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
