Job Duties
1. Facilitate program delivery by providing tutorial assistance, psychomotor skills labs and seminars in designated areas of Saskatchewan. Coordinate and support clinical experiences and revise curriculum as needed. Knowledge and/or experience in distance education would be an asset.
2. Manage the learning environment; provide student support and counselling so as to facilitate student success.
3. Evaluate and monitor student progress and provide feedback.
4. Facilitate effective and efficient program administration and maintenance. Monitor program effectiveness.
5. Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships.
6. Travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Specific Accountabilities
Duties
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

1. A degree in nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
3. Two years recent and relevant nursing experience in adult critical care.
4. Knowledge and/or experience in the area of adult education with the ability to apply theory, practices and principles of adult education.
5. Knowledge and/or experience in distance education and interactive media software incorporating web technologies into curriculum.
6. Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.
7. Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
8. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
9. Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
10. Effective communication skills (written and oral).
11. Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
12. Effective instructional ability.
13. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
